GCSE results day - Hutton Boys Do It Again!

We are delighted to announce another super set of GCSE results.

In English 29% of students achieved grades 7-9 and in Maths 29%% gained grades 7-9. An impressive 81% of boys gained 5 or more standard passes (grade 4 and above) including English and Maths. 60% gained 5 or more strong passes (grade 5 or above) including English and Maths. We continue to be a school where STEM is a real strength. Alongside the strong Maths results our boys have excelled in the Sciences with 100% gaining a grade 4 or above in Chemistry; 99%% in Biology and 100% in Physics. In addition 77% gained a grade 4 or above in Combined Science.

Special mention should be made to the 24 students who gained the top grades of 7-9 across all their subjects. An impressive achievement and reflects a year group who embraced all that Hutton has to offer. In total our students achieved 53 grade 9s across 13 subjects.

We have been delighted to sign up many of our boys to continue their journey at our Sixth Form. We wish all those heading to college the very best of luck on the next stage of their education journey.

Mrs Moran commented -

"It is an honour to lead this school. After the successes of our A Level students last week I am delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Y11. It is testimony to their diligence and the way in which they approached all aspects of their GCSE studies and examinations. I would like to take this opportunity to thank staff, governors, parents and carers for their support and commitment to the education of our students.

We are very proud of them all!"
