The School Day

The structure of the day is as follows:

8:45am: Students are expected to be on site in their Designated Areas

8:50am - 9:05am           Form/Year Group Worship

9:05am - 10:05am         Period 1

10:05am - 11:05am       Period 2

11:05am - 11:20am       Break

11:20am - 12:20pm       Period 3

12:20pm - 1:05pm         Lunch 

1:05pm - 2:05pm           Period 4 

2:05pm - 3:05pm           Period 5

School buses will depart from the site at 3:15pm each day.

Form/YEAR WORSHIP

Students will spend 15 minutes of each day with their form group. During this time the register will be taken and any announcements or letters will be given out. The remainder of the time is used for collective worship, focusing on the theme of the week. 

Lessons

Students in the main school will have five, one hour lessons each day. There are three in the morning and two in the afternoon. Students in the Sixth Form will have fewer lessons on their timetable. The gaps will be filled with independent study periods. 

Lunch Time

Lunch time lasts for 45 minutes. A rota is in place so that year groups are staggered going into the Dining Hall. Space is available outside for students with different areas designated for different year groups.
